Tree Kits and Add-Ons
Q: Is the tree included with your kits?
A: No, you will need to purchase or supply your own tree with the exception of our dorm kits. They include a table top tree.
Q: What size Christmas tree are the DIY kits intended for?
A: Each kit is created to fully decorate a 7-foot tree. (Unlike our competitors who offer kits for just the front half of the tree! Beware!)
Q: My tree is bigger than 7 feet. Will this kit be enough for my tree?
A: If you have a tree larger than 7 feet tall, we recommend buying a “Bonus Kit” along with the DIY kit you have chosen. The bonus kit will include additional coordinating ornaments and ribbon to fill out your decorated tree.
Q: What do you mean by curated ornaments?
A: These are the ornaments that help to make your kit unique. They are ornaments that aren't included in the standard formula and have been selected especially for your tree! They will be unique, special and will make you smile.
Q: Can I add my own ornaments?
A: Yes, please! That is what makes it special and unique.
No, the topper is complete and custom made for each kit.
Q: What materials are the decorations made from?
A: We have a variety of materials for our ornaments and we aim for them all to be as UNBREAKABLE as possible. We aim to provide you with quality ornaments to last you for years. We understand life happens around the Christmas Tree – let’s keep it joyful!
Q: Is there a tree skirt included in the kit?
A: No, but you can add-on a tree skirt for an additional fee.
Q: Will you show me how to put the ribbon on??
A: Yes. When you purchase your kit we will give you access to videos where we show you how we applied the ribbon to achieve a similar look.
Q: Will I receive all of the exact ornaments?
A: No, each kit has the same number of ornaments but since each kit is individually curated, no kit is exactly the same. You will have at least 5 unique ornaments that have been hand-chosen to coordinate with your chosen kit. Why? Because Christmas should be full of fun surprises!
Q: Will my Christmas tree look exactly like the ones on your website?
A: No -- We hope not! We want you to be creative with your tree. We have curated all the supplies that no matter how you do it, it will have a cohesively designed look. You will have access to our decorating guide and we will share our designer tips and tricks so you will feel successful.
Q: What if I want more ornaments?
A: If you want a densely decorated tree, you can buy a bonus kit that coordinates with your original kit.
Q: Why are the kits from Door to Door Christmas better?
A: Because we limit the number of kits we sell, each kit is lovingly curated and unique, just like your space. Our trained designer has sourced quality products from at least 5 vendors so you will never have a boring tree again. We aim to keep your cost affordable because we know the real value comes from the memories you will make while decorating a tree yourself.
Q: How long does it take to get my tree decorating kit?
A: After you place an order, we will curate and ship your kit within 48 hours. Shipping takes typically 3-5 days via UPS. Your kit will arrive in 2 boxes from our headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Q: Can I cancel or get a refund?
A: We want all of our customers to be happy so if you have any issue, contact us immediately. You can cancel anytime before your Christmas Tree Kit or Add-ons are shipped and we will refund 100% of your payment. After customers have received their kit, we will allow returns within 7 days. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed within 7 days as long as the kit is returned complete and in its original box.
Q: Do you offer customized tree themes?
A: We never say never. Please contact us to share your ideas. Let's talk.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Sorry, we only ship within the United States.

Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Because each job is so unique, we can not give a price quote without first assessing your needs and the space in which we will be decorating.
